Contacts Overview
Omnix includes an integrated customer relationship management (CRM) database. A Contact represents a single person who communicates with your business.
Contact Anatomy
A contact record combines:
- Identifiers: Phone numbers, email addresses, and external system IDs. Omnix uses these match keys to combine interactions across different messaging channels into a single profile.
- Profile details: Name, company, location, and timezone details.
- Activity Timeline: A chronological list of all interactions, notes, campaigns, and status updates associated with the contact.
- Custom Context: Custom data fields (e.g.
customerTier, preferredLanguage) imported from your database or external APIs.
